It gives potential buyers map showing locations of the products or services they are searching for from the nearest to the furthest. Sellers upload their products and/or services images with description, price, condition, terms and contact details. 1.2 Potential buyers simply type in whatever they are looking for and will select a button to inform the system whether they want to Buy or Swap or Swap & Top. In the condition that the item searched for is found, results appear showing the nearest seller to the furthest. The application gives potential buyers a platform to chat with the selected seller and make arrangements to trade. Potential buyer can save the search results and get notifications whenever they are within the radar of product or service they searched for. 1.3 The salient goal of this mobile application is to enable the informal sector of the Zimbabwean market to advertise their goods and services in a convenience and cheap way. The application will address the unavailability of online market places for informal traders, inadequate harnessing of the internet for local commerce, lack of location-based platforms in local market places and also to eradicate poverty amongst the unemployed Zimbabweans. The application will be downloaded for free and the sellers will pay $20 per month to advertise.
