The Company was founded in 2006 following the amalgamation of the property interests of various pension funds of the former First Mutual Life Assurance Society of Zimbabwe at the time of the demutualisation of the latter. The consolidation of the properties under Pearl Properties was premised on many strategic objectives, primarily being the desire to create efficient and effective property management, development and investment structures that would harness investment opportunities in Zimbabwe’s property market, with the prime objective of creating value for the benefit of all strategic stakeholders. Pearl Properties was listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (“ZSE”) on 22 August 2007.
