Academia de Mathematica - AdeM is an academy for thorough mathematics coaching and tutoring. We believe everyone is intelligent,they only need to realize how intelligent they are. AdeM was founded by Liberty Marozhe (Mr Lee) and Janine Goldie Andrews Ncube to undo that superstition that Maths is an educational monster and barrier to academic progress with the inspiration of Girls College (GC) Students namely Matikomborera Nyamadzi, Fadzai Chiutsi, Chiyedza Takafakare, Amanda Ncube, Fenny Chitengu, Mayibongwe Gumbo and Keith Tele from Midlands Christian College (MCC). AdeM is a place you meet new friends & connect, they clicked and they called themselves "The A-Team," (A for Grade A). They were Cambridge O'Level Students who desired to write ZIMSEC O'Level Maths in June 2013 with only two months to prepare. We intensified for a month, then they wrote and all passed with upper classes then wrote Cambridge Maths in November 2013 and got distinctions. Some had a low self esteem about their capabilities, and we helped them believe in themselves and they did it. They went to A"Level and took Maths which they never thought they would manage but they managed. In Aug 2013 we had up to 17 O'Level Students. To those who were faithful to attend lessons and followed what we taught ,they passed with distinctions. In 2014 we enrolled A'Level with the same GC students and others who joined. We are seeing results and the academy is growing. In 2015 we got an administration team for better management to improve on our services delivery.
