Centre Stage Media Arts Foundation (CSMA) is a Zimbabwean civil society organization that uses innovative and creative development solutions to tackle minority rights challenges, community conflicts, gender, youth development, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, HIV and Aids. CSMA’s addresses the aforementioned challenges through access to justice, legal empowerment, leadership training and development, training in negotiation and mediation, biomedical HIV prevention and treatment advocacy, community mobilization, policy research, analysis and advocacy. The organization aims to achieve its goals through investing time and other resources to giving a platform to its target audience to express their opinions, learn, and share experiences and at the same time opening new windows to opportunities offered by new media and technologies in development. CSMA also harnesses local resources for purposes of skills development for adolescent girls and young women. Ultimately the work of CSMA aims to create social wealth through empowering individuals and communities and thus placing them at a vantage point to determine their future, pursue dreams and take leadership positions.
